So many people say that they wish they had ideas, stories to illustrate and were creative. This presentation guides you to examine your own experiences and preferences to draw on in creating unique images..... The second half demonstrates a number of editing techniques such as textures, overlays, colour grading and composites, opening that door to creative expression and image creation. I work on the same image in 3 different ways to show how to create emotion and narrative within your work.

I’ve assessed over 1000 images submitted to camera club competitions in the last two years, and found a number of recurring themes. This evening addresses these themes and aims to help the average camera club member get more out of their photography by developing the quality of their Post-Production. This is not a dry evening watching sliders being moved, instead I will lead a discussion on the WHAT and WHY of Post-Production not the HOW. We will focus through worked examples on the techniques we have to help viewers see more clearly what we wanted to say in our images.

Sat 26 Jul 2025 - Bus Day Out
A Bus Day out is going ahead on Saturday 19th July. We will be meeting at the Coach pick up at 10am to be picked up by the bus.It is a 1950s theme so dressing in 1950s clothes or clothes inspired by the 50s is encouraged but not mandatory.There will be a £5 charge to go towards fuel costs.
