Last night we had a club 'Show and Tell' Evening which was a late change to the programme! It was a great success with 10 people bringing in images to show to us and talk about. It is such a great chance to see each others' images in a relaxed and non-competitive situation. It is also a chance to get to know what others like to photograph and pick up tips and ideas.We had images from Egypt, India, Portugal and many parts of Britain including an 'Extreme Day out' - to Edinburgh!. There were studio shots, flower shots and some fairly bonkers composites!! But I think for many of us, the stars of the show were some huge eagles and other raptors from Spain - just wow!! (and I don't do wildlife!!)

A very successful evening and thanks to everyone who contributed and made the evening so interesting - it would have been nothing without you - literally!!

The WCPF Members' Exhibition runs at Magelake, Uffculme from 3rd May to 15th May, with presentations on 3rd at 2pm. It is a great chance to see the exhibition as it is in our area, several of our members will be picking up awards, it would be good if they had some support!! A record number of WDCC members have had images accepted for the exhibition.

Unfortunately several members are away (me included) and are not able to help but very few people have offered, which is a shame as it is in our area.
