Last night we welcomed Tony North back to our club, this time he spoke about Creative Flower Photography. He showed many useful tips to taking flower images, which were illustrated with some amazing images, I thought they were great, but then - it is 'my thing'!! Some of the techniques some of us have used, I know I have but some not nearly as satisfactorily as Tony did. In my case I have not really succeeded with the 'image in a droplet' technique, I must get out the glycerine again and have another try! He did stress that much was a matter of practice and trial and error - in my case more error than success!!

After the break he showed us some of the techniques he used when creating a flower composite. There were again some useful tips but Tony stressed that the important part was getting the composition right, so that the images when combined, looked as good as possible and aesthetically pleasing - again trial and error. Hopefully people picked up some tips to get the best out of their flower images.
