Last night was our first competition of the season and it was on the subject of 'Threes' and of course the open. Our judge was Malcolm Macnaughton from Dorchester.
'Threes' was interpreted in various ways, being either three main subjects, three of a kind or a triptych, and produced a variety of images including wildlife,sport, people and objects. The open section, as always, was made up of a variety of settings and genres, some quite spectacular. Congratulations of course go to the winners, Polly and Lynne, but also to all those who had a Top Ten place. Special congratulations go to Polly, Peter Elliston and Chris Mowthorpe who all had all three of their entries held back. The full results are as follows:
