2nd September Meeting - Show and Tell

Last night’s meeting was a ‘show and tell’ evening and members were asked to bring in a memory stick with about 10 images on. There was no particular theme, maybe a project, or pictures from places and events visited during the Summer break perhaps, but really a ‘photographers choice’.

Once more members came up with some wonderful and varied images. We travelled from the woods at the Wellington Monument to Wales and the Isle of Man and overseas to Provence and the Camargue, Spain, Portugal and India to name but a few. We saw images of trains, trams, buses, scooters, planes and a cable car and even a full scale Motorway traffic jam. There were pictures of Donkeys, Ducks, birds and a squirrel and whilst the mouse was not at home we did see his beautifully built nest. And we covered genres from street/candid and portraits to macro and nature images.

It was great to see so many members at our first meeting of 26/27 and to see that so many were taking part by bringing along their images. Sadly the clock was against us and we were unable to look at some of offerings. Hopefully we will be able to see these pictures at some future date.
