Last night was a lovely evening, when nearly a dozen members showed us some images that they had taken over the summer - under the banner heading 'My Summer'. We saw a great range of images, trees, cute dogs, cute kids, racing cars, re-enactors, birds and bees and a tree being dismembered all featured. We also saw a great AV from Steve W. (Diane told us that we have a talk on AVs coming up in the coming season). It was a really interesting evening and an insight into the sort of subjects that the contributors enjoy capturing. Many thanks to everyone who took part.

It was the first time that we had served teas/coffees, many thanks to Ruth and our apologies if it was a little chaotic!! Also big thanks to Paul for making the cake (gluten free!!) - extra thanks from the three of us who are 'special' and need to eat gluten free for thinking about us!!

Next week (20th Sept) we have a zoom meeting. Lois Webb will talk on 'China from the inside'. Lois lived in China for four and a half years, giving her some opportunities for photography not available to tourists. Her presentation charts the progress of her photography form happy family snapper to professional photographer and tutor. Images taken in her hometown - Shanghai and across the length and breadth of the vast country of China. I will send out the link for the meeting, probably at the weekend, we hope to see you then.
