Photo Challenge #4: Vintage
06/04/2022
Last night was a Challenge‘ night, when the theme was Vintage. This was interpreted in a number of ways by the eight members who showed images. Some showed things that were definitely old, people, card, trains all featured. Some people had delved into their family archives and showed books and photos which they (we) hoped would be of interest. There were certainly a lot of cars, which the petrol heads amongst the audience seemed to enjoy!!
It was a lively evening and the nearest we can get to a ‘get together‘ at the moment. Diane thanked everyone who had submitted images, the variety of images is what makes these evenings a success.
Peter T outlined plans for the AGM, which will be held in Café 37 at Wellington School. I will send out details and directions nearer the time. He will be able to tell members more about next year the plans for next season and how it will work. The café is a large enough area that we can all spread out and we were asked to be careful, do lateral flow tests and not to attend if any symptoms are present - I'm sure we can be sensible and help to keep everyone safe.
Peter T also asked for members to send him (or me) any ideas for excursions for our summer programme.
