We welcomed Robert Snary who gave us his talk on 'Japanese Winter Wonderland’ following his recent trip which ended just before lockdown started. He talked about the history, culture and scenery of Japan, ending in Hokkaido, the northernmost of the home islands, for the snow and ice festivals and talked about other places with unpronounceable names!!!
