The meeting last night was ably hosted by Andrew; we had a few gremlins creep in, but all was well in the end.

What a great night of great images we had last night for the Image of the Year competition. We had a very fair and experienced judge - Dr Wendy Allard from Cornwall. She obviously gave the images a great deal of thought and I felt she 'got' some of the images where other judges had 'missed the point'. 18 different members had at least one image shown last night, which is brilliant, in this extraordinary year

It's a bit difficult for me to comment on the eventual winner of the Image of the Year Award, for obvious reasons, except to say that I was shocked and honoured to be the winner in the company of such great images. It could have been any one of us and it's a huge well done to everyone.
