We had a great night last night with a large attendance to the Zoom meeting! A keenly fought battle against Dulverton Camera Club, as usual they got the better of us!! There may not be many of them but they have certainly got some good photographers!

The judge, Rob Eschle - from Truro and St Austell Camera Clubs was interesting in the way that he explained his thought process, he repeatedly said what a great set of images he had to judge and that they were of a very high standard. In the end Dulverton beat us by 24 points - 423 to 399.

Whether we agree with all his comments and markings is another matter and something that could be debated far into the night and we would never come up with a result that everyone agreed with. As we all know, there is never one answer, judging will always be a matter of opinion.

It was a very friendly good-natured event with people we have got to know over the past year, Zoom has had its advantages and I wonder if this is a way to hold battles in the future?? Just putting it out there!!

There were no notices and the meeting ended at 9.30 ish, - brilliant timing.
