WCPF Members' Exhibition: Open Section Reviewed
13/01/2021
We had a really good get together last night with the opportunity to look at and discuss some of the entries and winners in the open section of the Members' Exhibition of the WCPF of 2019.
Peter T led the discussion by giving his critique of the images, we then had a chance to ask questions and give our opinions. As always, there was a wide range of opinions and views. It was however very interesting to hear other people's views and opinions.
I think we all enjoy these more informal presentations as well as the evenings when we have outside speakers. It is the nearest we can get to 'having a chat'!! We saw a wide range of images, some were thought provoking in different ways, some we all liked and some none did and many that divided us. It was a chance to ask questions and try to ascertain the type of photography that the judges favour (perhaps or perhaps not!!). Entries are now being accepted for the 2021 'Virtual' exhibition, details on the WCPF web site. It would be good to see more members' names when we review the images next year.
