Camera Club entertained by Border Tales

The annual dinner of Wellington Camera Club took place recently at the Oake Country Club. This year in addition to the dinner and a popular quiz from club member Ted Jackson-Smith, there was musical entertainment from the band known as Border Tales.
Border Tales are trio of musicians and singers performing acoustic roots music who have been together for about two years. Their links across the Devon/Somerset border lie behind the origin of their group’s name. Lead singer Jane Newton-Yeo was accompanied by Trevor Lloyd and Paul Ewings.
This 3-part harmony trio provided a lively performance with a mixture of original pieces and songs by Bob Dylan and the Mammas and the Pappas -a great piece of great entertainment that rounded off a very enjoyable evening for the club. Border Tales have several gigs lined up for this year and can always be contacted through their website at www.bordertales.co.uk
